Data stays on your device by default

Moien stores your learning progress, preferences and favourites on your device. iCloud synchronization is optional and off by default for new installations. When you enable it, Moien synchronizes lesson progress only, through Apple's private iCloud Key-Value Store. Turning it off asks Apple to remove Moien's progress snapshot from that store; if synchronization is unavailable, removal may be delayed. Your local progress stays on this device. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy practices apply to iCloud storage.

No tracking, advertising or account

n8 studio operates no Moien account and no learning-data server. The app includes no advertising, analytics or tracking, and your progress is never sent to n8 studio. The app may download learning content from a configured content host and streams dictionary pronunciation recordings from lod.lu; those services may receive ordinary connection information such as an IP address as part of serving a request.

Purchase

Discovery and level A1 are free. A2, B1 and the Sproochentest practice modules are unlocked by a single non-consumable in-app purchase, handled entirely by Apple. n8 studio receives no payment details, and the purchase can be restored on your devices or shared with your Family Sharing group.
