MoodLens Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
Data collection
MoodLens does not collect personal data. There is no account, no sign-in and no cloud sync. Check-ins, journals, habits, experiments and derived insights are stored in a local database on your device and are never uploaded to n8 or to any third party.
Apple Health
Health data is read only after you explicitly grant access, and only for the types you approve (sleep and activity). It stays on your device. A check-in is written to Apple Health as a State of Mind only when you choose to share it, and you can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
On-device intelligence
Patterns are computed deterministically on the device. Where Apple Foundation Models are available, they may write an explanation from aggregate evidence that MoodLens prepares; journal text and individual records are never part of that request, and nothing is sent to a server.
Purchases
Optional subscriptions are processed by Apple. MoodLens receives only whether a subscription is active; it never sees your payment details.
Notifications and widgets
Reminders are scheduled locally after you enable them. Widgets read a small snapshot from a shared container on the same device.
Deleting your data
You can delete all personal data from You inside the app; the app explains exactly what is removed. Deleting the app from your device also removes its local database.
